Abstract

The number of foreign tourists arriving in Jakarta rose throughout the first half of 2022. Cumulatively, there were 232,2 thousand. This figure increased by 292.7 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. The pandemic is in the control stage, and various international events and granting visa-free visits invite foreign tourists to enter Jakarta.

In June 2022, the number of foreign tourist arrivals continues a positive trend with an increase of 47.96 percent compared to May 2022. In this month, the most significant number of foreign tourists arrival came from Malaysia.
