Abstract

The publication "Labor Force Situation in Jakarta Timur Municipality 2021" is the result of the August 2021 National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS). Data is presented up to the administrative district/city level. Data collection was carried out in August 2021. Therefore the information presented describes the situation in August 2021. This publication contains basic employment tables. The information presented includes population according to main activity, working population and their characteristics such as employment status, type of work, number of hours worked, level of education, and so on. Users and interested in employment data are advised to read the concepts and definitions used in advance, especially those related to unemployment, because the 2021 SAKERNAS uses the concept of unemployment in accordance with the recommendations of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
