Abstract

International tourist arrivals to Jakarta in November 2021 recorded 19,046 arrivals, and it was the highest arrivals in 2021. The high number of international tourist arrivals this month was in line with the decline of the PPKM level in Jakarta to level 1 and the reduced quarantine duration for international travelers since beginning of November.

International tourist arrival showed a positive trend with the rise in foreign tourist arrivals, both monthly and yearly. The increase of foreign tourists was 38.7 percent compared to October 2021 (m-to-m), while compared to the same month in the previous year (y-on-y), there was an increase of 32.6 percent.
